Property Information Questionnaire

From April 6th 2009, a completed PIQ must be included in a HIP before the property can be marketed. You can download and complete the relevant PIQ listed below. You have two choices as to how you proceed:

1) Print out a blank PIQ, then fill-in by hand.

Once completed, you can send it to us:
By Fax: on 0845 280 6600
By Post: OyezHIPAG, Oyez House, 7 Spa Road, London SE16 3QQ.
By DX: 80705 BERMONDSEY

2) Fill-in the PIQ electronically, save, and either:

a)  upload directly into the HIP
b)  email to: packs@oyezhipag.co.uk .

In order to save the text you type onto the PDF, you will need to have software that enables you to save changes to completed PDF files (adobe acrobat reader does not allow this) - we recommend the Free Foxit PDF reader, available from FoxitSoftware.

It is widely accepted that the new PIQ will not satisfy a buyer's solicitor or conveyancer. AHIPP members have free access to a new Property Detail Questionnaire (PDQ) that has been created by lawyers for lawyers. The PDQ has been designed to 'dovetail' in with the PIQ, reducing the possibility of asking the property seller the same question twice.

Law Society PIQ - OyezForms users

OyezForms users have the option of filling-in the Law Society versions of the PIQs, and exporting to PDF before emailing/uploading to the HIP as per option 2, above. Our distribution agreement with the Law Society does not allow for blank versions of these forms being uploaded into the HIP; the forms must be fully completed first.

You will need to be running version 9.01T or above of the software. Click here for the latest program download.
